Selected Sound Musikverlag is a music publisher active on a global scale under the roof of EMI Music Publishing Germany. Selected Sound possesses an archive of around 15,000 titles from virtually all areas of repertory, among them 100 CDs with classical music.

Selected Sound is a German library, which means that the musical contents often carry a German accent as well. During the last 40 years a unique catalogue has been built which contains a wide variety of specialties that cannot be found in any other library.

In the year 2005, Selected Sound relaunched its corporate design and will orient the musical themes even more toward the new requirements of the market. Great emphasis is laid on the authenticity of the music. In collaboration with the artists of NETWORK SYNDICATE, who have successfully transposed electronic music concepts into the internet since the mid-90's, Selected Sound is currently creating the SELECTRONICA series with up-to-date electronic contents from lounge and electro to house, minimal house and experimental sounds. Furthermore, productions with a strong focus on original instruments in new musical contexts are created as well as several song-oriented publications.

In cooperation with partners like KPM, Musichouse, Megatrax or De Wolfe Music Selected Sound in Germany offers a range of more than 100,000 titles for licensing for all kinds of media productions. In addition to world-wide music licensing, the service offer also includes ringtones, surround mixes of the productions of your choice and comprehensive music consulting.
